Steakhouse 71 was named for the year Disney’s Contemporary Resort opened. Steakhouse 71 is decorated with some Florida flair incorporating citrus groves and Orange Bird in the decor. The 70’s design style mixed with a sleek, contemporary, and comfortable atmosphere makes it a great restaurant for any occasion. Steakhouse 71 offers Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.
We took a trip to Steakhouse 71 a few days ago at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Steakhouse 71 is a casual dining restaurant which makes for a nice laid back atmosphere. We made a reservation for 6:50 P.M. and arrived around 5:30 P.M. we wanted to make sure we had enough time in case of traffic. We checked in and they had a table ready before 6 P.M.. The server was there right away to introduce himself and take our drink order.
We started out with an order of onion rings for the appetizer. It was a really good size order and they were amazing. I ordered the 6-oz Filet Mignon with garlic mashed potatoes and the signature Steakhouse 71 sauce. It was amazing and the signature sauce was fabulous. My wife ordered the Florida Sustainable Fish en Papillote. Her meal came with shrimp, fried potatoes, asparagus, baby carrots, and lemon beurre blanc. It must have been good she ate all of it and said she would defiantly order it again. For dessert we had the Creme Brulee and it was so delicious.

Steakhouse 71 was a good experience and we will defiantly go back. There are so many more menu items we would love to try including the signature drinks. Make your reservation today and enjoy Steakhouse 71 with some friends. You can make reservations on the Disney World mobile App.
