Halloween Horror Nights is bringing one of horror’s most disturbing franchises to life this fall as Hellraiser makes its long-awaited debut at both Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood.

Inspired by the first three films in the legendary series, the all-new haunted houses will plunge guests into Clive Barker’s nightmarish universe, where pleasure and pain become one and the Cenobites await anyone daring enough to solve the infamous Lament Configuration Puzzle Box.
Since the original film premiered in 1987, Hellraiser has become one of horror’s most recognizable and influential franchises. Centered around the mysterious puzzle box that opens a gateway to another dimension, the films introduced audiences to Pinhead and the Cenobites—otherworldly beings who blur the line between agony and ecstasy. With its unforgettable imagery and psychological themes, the series has remained a horror staple for decades.
For the first time in Halloween Horror Nights history, fans will be able to step directly into the world of Hellraiser. The haunted houses draw inspiration from Hellraiser, Hellbound: Hellraiser II, and Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth, recreating some of the franchise’s most memorable locations and terrifying moments. Adding even more authenticity to the experience, Doug Bradley, the actor who famously portrayed Pinhead, returns to voice the iconic character in both the Orlando and Hollywood attractions.
Guests will begin their terrifying journey by entering the Lament Configuration itself, unknowingly unleashing the Cenobites and opening a portal into a realm of unimaginable horror. Along the way, they’ll encounter eerie environments pulled directly from the films, including Frank Cotton’s attic, the sinister Channard Institute, and ultimately The Labyrinth, where Pinhead and his followers await new souls to torment for eternity.
Fans looking to commemorate the experience can also pick up exclusive Hellraiser-themed merchandise. A limited-edition T-shirt and a Pinhead acrylic figure—compatible with the Infernal Carnival collectible display—are available now at Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood. The collection will also be available through shopUniversal beginning Wednesday, July 1, at 9:00 a.m. PT.

The Hellraiser haunted house opens the box beginning Friday, August 28 at Universal Orlando Resort and Thursday, September 3 at Universal Studios Hollywood, inviting brave guests to discover what lies beyond the threshold of pain and pleasure.
