The 35th Annual Orlando International Fringe Festival is finally here! From now until Memorial Day, Loch Haven Park (as well as other areas of Orlando) will come alive with a variety of ticketed performances, a free outdoor stage, an eclectic visual art gallery, kids’ activities, and plenty more. While there’s simply too much Fringe to cover in a single article, we are rolling out a series of posts about this incredible event. In this installment, we’re exploring The Greatest Betrayal.
As huge fans of this yearly celebration, we’re thrilled to be covering these exceptional artists and creators. Thank you, Orlando Fringe, for having us out!
What is The Greatest Betrayal?

Written and performed by award-winning playwright Morgan Frey, this solo show follows her journey through the greatest hits (and heartbreaks) of growing up: a 6-year-old belting “Tearing Up My Heart” at recess, the butterflies of a first crush, and the surreal experience of actually meeting a childhood celebrity obsession.
But The Greatest Betrayal isn’t just a nostalgia trip. Woven through the laughter and the relatable cringe-worthy moments of early adulthood is something much more tender. Morgan opens up about the realities of dating and relationships as a multiple amputee. With honesty and vulnerability, she shares some of her most painful and traumatic experiences.
What makes all of this land so beautifully is Morgan herself. She is a genuinely gifted storyteller, and I was riveted from the first moment she stepped onstage. Morgan effortlessly moves us between funny and heartbreaking, bravely bringing us through some of her most formative experiences.
An impactful journey, it is truly an honor to be invited into Morgan’s world. The stories and memories she shares will stick with you long after the lights come up. Don’t miss The Greatest Betrayal!
Getting Tickets to The Greatest Betrayal
