Long ago, in the fog-shrouded streets of 18th-century New Orleans, a terrible carnival disaster left the city haunted by whispers. Nearly a century later, in 1806, the mysterious author Hrodebert Kasparov Grau released a strange little book titled Verlorene Seele (The Lost Souls) – a tale of what happened after the carnival’s lights went out, the laughter faded, and the spirits of the performers refused to move on.
Reprinted under the name CarnEvil of Souls, the story became a treasured bedtime tale – and, some say, the eerie inspiration for the lullaby “Row, Row, Row Your Boat.”
Now, rediscovered and remastered by Mr. Floats himself, the story returns in a new 44-page children’s book complete with breathtaking original artwork and modern storytelling flair. The master of ceremonies is ready to deliver this chilling classic directly into your hands.
