We recently had the chance to experience their Pinocchio room—a chilling fairytale twist that took us deep into Geppetto’s eerie workshop. With 75 minutes on the clock, Pinocchio challenges players to solve a series of puzzles (rated 7/10 in difficulty) as they attempt to escape Geppetto’s sinister workshop. Along the way, a live actor, shocking jump scares, atmospheric special effects, and unsettling set pieces keep the tension high. The twisted fairytale theme adds a whimsical edge, creating a uniquely creepy atmosphere that sets this room apart from similar horror-themed experiences.
Freaky Thoughts: Pinocchio
I absolutely adored my time at Escapade Games! From the moment we stepped into Geppetto’s workshop, the eerie atmosphere and frequent scares kept my horror-loving heart happy. The puzzles and riddles struck the perfect balance – challenging enough to feel rewarding, but never so difficult that they became frustrating. One of my favorite elements was the addition of a live actor. Every time “Geppetto” entered the room, the tension spiked as we scrambled to avoid his gaze, making the experience feel like part escape room, part survival horror. Between the detailed set design, clever gameplay, and those nerve-rattling scares, this was a truly memorable attraction that I won’t soon forget. I’m already counting down the days until I can return to face their legendary Zoe: Reborn!
