(Los Angeles, CA) Horror enthusiasts, theater lovers, and fans of the wonderfully weird—get ready. Trepany House is back with an all-new original play that’s as unsettling as it is unforgettable.
Saturdays through November 1, the Titmouse Warehouse in Los Angeles becomes the stage for Strings, a genre-bending thriller that dives deep into paranoia, pain, and the dark side of the American medical system. Written and directed by Amit Itelman (founder of Trepany House), this chilling new production uniquely blends psychological horror with social commentary.
More About Strings‘ Story
Meet Stanley Porter, a man convinced he has Morgellons—a controversial and mysterious condition where strings erupt from his skin. After being denied treatment by the healthcare system, Stanley spirals into a desperate fight for justice using chaos and violence as his chosen weapons. As reality fractures and tensions rise, Strings grips audiences in a “modern terror noir” that’s as thought-provoking as it is terrifying.
Expect staged gunplay. Expect brief nudity. Expect to squirm in your seat, and think about it long after the lights come up!
