Filled with genuine Vegas vibes and casino-focused imagery, I ADORED this creepy trip through the dark side of Sin City. Ultimate Gamble is a cerebral take on gambling, debauchery, and the utter isolation that can result from a bit too much indulgence. It’s an amazing addition to this year’s event!

Picture this: You stumble on an abandoned farmhouse in the middle of nowhere. The air is thick with dread, and the silence is broken only by the eerie rustling of the cornfields. Honestly, I initially wasn’t sure what to make of Water’s Edge Wellness Center’s unique storyline. While I’ve certainly seen my share of medical scares, this house does not take place in a hospital or other general setting. Instead, we find ourselves in a spa environment – not unlike one that we may have frequented ourselves. However, the familiar setting adds an extra element of unease and eeriness. It’s a great house – full of horrifying visuals and detailed set pieces.

FINALLY! I have been not-so-patiently waiting for SeaWorld to do a water-based house since the event was originally announced back in 2021. And Atlantis Journey Below does not disappoint! There were ominous sea creatures, stunning scenery, and even a trident-wielding siren. THANK YOU, Howl-O-Scream Orlando, for daring to explore the terrifying world beneath the waves. We need more of this, please!

You’re invited inside the headquarters of a unique mercenary group, established by the government to counter the threat posed by the Sirens and other dangerous sea creatures. While these creatures are typically unseen in human-occupied territories, recent attacks on humans at the surface necessitate a swift resolution. We’ve allowed the public to tour the recently expanded facility to gain support and understanding for the cause, but you will not be alone in your journey.

NEW! Seeds of the Coven
Enter if you dare into “Seeds of the Coven,” where the line between nature and nightmare blurs into a sinister reality. A place where the natural world has turned against humanity, twisted by the dark arts into a landscape of fear and peril. Will you escape the clutches of the witches and their horrific creations, or will you become just another part of their gruesome harvest? Enter if you dare, but remember – the coven is always hungry, and at night, they sow the seeds of terror.

Located at the very front of the park, this zone features lots of delightful fog as well as engaging performers. It’s the perfect way to set the tone for your evening of fear.
NEW! Paradise Palms
Check in, but you may never check out at the Paradise Palms. This scare zone turns a once-idyllic roadside haven into a nightmarish trap. At this seemingly abandoned motel, with its faded pastel paint and overgrown palms, you’ll uncover a chilling history beyond its weathered façade. Will you unravel the motel’s mysteries and escape its haunted grounds, or will this stay be your last?
With its Florida roadside imagery and vacation vibes, Paradise Palms really leans into the random and offbeat creepiness of our home state. Because of the rain, I was unable to truly appreciate this zone in its full form. But the set pieces look fantastic!

This haunted scare zone transforms a once-thriving port into a realm of grisly feasts and primal fear, where the line between hunter and hunted is blurred by a fog of madness. The inhabitants of Cannibal Harbor are no ordinary fishermen. Driven to madness by a sinister curse, these cannibalistic mariners now stalk the port in search of fresh prey. Probably my new favorite Howl-O-Scream Orlando scare zone, Cannibal Harbor has incredibly gory set pieces as well as lots of performer interactions. As we walked through, almost every single actor stopped us to engage in a personalized and themed moment. I love this zone!
Blood Light District
Those who walk the streets of this borough will tempt your deepest desires. You can fight their beckoning, but you will not win. Do not be fooled by their beauty and lust. Stay too long and you will be forever bound by blood.

Blood Light District may be a returning theme, but it is still one of the most unique zones I’ve ever seen at a haunted event. Filled with stunning European decor (including a blood-filled fountain) and thirsty vampires, this is such a remarkable area!
Toxic Turmoil
A toxic catastrophe has caused this hidden chemical landfill to be overcome by mutated creatures, humans, and plant life. Your only chance is to make it to the exit at the other end of the yard. Be careful where you step, not everything is as it seems.

Adorned with half-reptile creatures and gruesome props, Toxic Turmoil is FILLED with super talented and engaging performers. Make sure you take time to talk to the actors in this zone. You’ll learn so much more about the story.
Terrors of the Deep
Out of the dark depths you will encounter a beautiful sunken village filled with remnants and treasures from the surface. These treasures have been claimed by a cursed Pirate crew that will give No Quarter to scallywags and landlubbers
Inspired by the former attraction, Terrors of the Deep includes plenty of watery creatures, malicious pirates, and aquatic imagery. Bonus note: pay attention to the background music used in this section. You might recognize it as the same creepy tunes from the original Terrors of the Deep aquarium!
CarnEVIL Pier
The freaks, sinister Barkers, and demented clowns that inhabit the Carn-Evil Pier welcome you to stay a while. Have a drink and a snack. You can even try your luck at the games… but beware, if you lose, your soul belongs to the pier.

Potentially the most organically interactive zone, CarnEVIL Pier includes a variety of large-scale set pieces (like a popcorn cart, hot dog stand, full-size games, and more) as well as vibrant carnival characters. There’s so much to explore throughout the Pier! Definitely plan some extra time to see it all.
Sinister Shows
In addition to the incredible scares and spooky stories, Howl-O-Scream Orlando features two returning shows. Monster Stomp is a Broadway-style musical in the Nautilus Theater. Siren’s Song is an outdoor introduction to SeaWorld’s infamous sirens.
