About The Emerald Cottage
We stayed in the the Emerald Cottage – a 7 bedroom, 4.5 bathroom home located in the Emerald Island Resort Community in Kissimmee, Florida. This home boasts intricately decorated bedrooms (with themes including Tangled, Toy Story, Beauty and the Beast, and The Jungle Cruise), an Avatar-inspired home theater, Star Wars game room (complete with billiards, digital pinball, and Xbox gaming console), and relaxing pool with attached hot tub. The entire house includes Disney details and Orlando touches for a remarkable vacation experience.
In addition to the beautiful home, The Sunshine Cottages went above and beyond to anticipate and provide for our varied vacation needs. The kitchen had a fully stocked coffee and tea area. The bathrooms included premium toiletries, and there were multiple play pens, high chairs, strollers, and other equipment for taking care of small children. The house also included a stocked laundry area and lots of necessary supplies for any cleaning predicaments.
A destination in and of itself, the Emerald Cottage was a fantastic place to play, stay, and relax with our family and friends.
