This season, Oviedo Mall will redefine an age-old family ritual with a brand new Santa Experience! Beginning Friday, November 24, children and families will immerse themselves in the holiday spirit with a memorable visit to Santa’s Workshop! Created by the brilliant and creative minds at Wizards & Lizards Craft Studio, this winter wonderland includes a special photo area with Santa as well as some fun surprises for his favorite visitors.
“Photos with Santa at Oviedo Mall is a time-honored tradition for our community. In the mall’s 25th year, we wanted to enhance that experience,” says Josh Gunderson, Director of Marketing & Events for Oviedo Mall. “Oviedo Mall is home to over 50 small businesses, and we wanted to utilize the amazing talents available to us in order to change the game when it came to photos with Santa.”
The captivating Santa photo set was designed and built by Adam & Dylan Brown (along with some special helpers) of Wizards & Lizards Craft Studio, located within Oviedo Mall. Handling the photography for this extraordinary experience is Oviedo-based Treasure Moments Photography.
“We want to encourage our community to think and shop locally this holiday season,” adds Gunderson.
In addition to general admission photo experiences, Oviedo Mall has planned exciting special events like Ugly Sweater Parties, Baby’s First Visit packages, and more.
Sensory-Friendly experiences with Santa are available on December 3, 10, and 17 outside of regular mall hours. And Pet Photo opportunities will be held November 25, December 2, December 8, and December 11.
