Named after the chimarrao, a traditional drink from Rio Grande do Sul in Brazil that symbolizes hospitality and friendship, Chima Steakhouse offers high quality food in an upscale dining environment. The Chima Experience
Chima Steakhouse Salad Bar
All great Chima meals start at the incredible, all-you-care-to-enjoy salad bar! Featuring freshly made green salads, seafood and chicken salads, premium cheeses, scrumptious charcuterie (like thinly sliced prosciutto and prepared beef carpaccio), as well as hot choices (like creamy vegetable soup and rice and beans); the salad bar was a huge highlight of the dining experience. While the star of the meal is most certainly the rodizio meats, I honestly could have filled up on the incredible options at this bar.
Chima Steakhouse Appetizers
In addition to your salad bar choices, Chima Steakhouse offers a selection of hot appetizers. We tried the fried polenta, fried banana, pao de queijo (cheese filled bread) and mashed potato options. While I loved all four of the items, the mashed potatoes were definitely my favorite. In fact, I’d go so far as to say that these are the creamiest mashed potatoes I’ve ever had in my entire life!
Chima Steakhouse Rodizio
While you are enjoying your salad bar selections and hot appetizers, servers will bring skewers and plates of fine meat choices directly to your table. Selections include sausage, ribeye, shrimp, chicken drum sticks, grilled salmon (with two choices of delicious sauces: pesto or passion fruit), and of course, several varieties of the Brazilian favorite – picanha. In addition to a traditionally prepared cut, our dinner included a picanha cooked with garlic or grilled jalapeños and chimichurri. All of them were “close your eyes and savor the moment” delicious!
For vegetarians or those looking for lighter options, servers will also offer veggie skewers and grilled pineapple with cinnamon. Listen, I don’t even like pineapple, but I LOVED this unique dish (I even had seconds)!
Chima Steakhouse Dessert
Remember to save room for dessert! Chima Steakhouse offers a wide variety of sweet endings like creme brûlée, papaya cream, and a Brazilian Sundae. We tried the NY Style Cheesecake and the Chocolate Coconut Lava Cake.
While both items were delicious (the coconut and chocolate blended nicely for a creamy and satisfying flavor), I preferred the rich and fluffy NY Style Cheesecake. The cheesecake was served with fresh berries and a fruit-flavored sauce.

With all-you-care-to-enjoy premium meats and gourmet salad bar PLUS delicious desserts, Chima Steakhouse is an unforgettable option for couples, families, and friends. I adored my meal at Chima Steakhouse, and I look forward to returning in the future. I highly recommend Chima Steakhouse for your next celebratory dinner!
