August 19-20, celebrate your love for thrill rides at Six Flags Over Georgia’s Coaster Fest! This brand new, separately ticketed festival gives guests the chance to get up close and personal with some of the most thrilling coasters in the Southeast using behind the scenes tours, lift hill walks, exclusive ride times, presentations from park officials, and more!

Behind the Scenes Tours
Take a look behind the scenes and check out the inner workings of some fan-favorite roller coasters. Coaster Fest guests can register for tours of The Great American Scream Machine, THE RIDDLER Mindbender, and JUSTICE LEAGUE: Battle for Metropolis, maintenance buildings, Fright Fest haunted houses and more!
Lift Hill Walks
Get a new point of view with this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to climb a coaster lift hill! Check out the Atlanta skyline on the 200ft Goliath or 104ft The Great American Scream Machine. Walks are an additional fee. Proceeds from lift hill walks will support local STEM organizations. Availability is limited, so it is recommended to register for these events in advance. Special Park Presentations
On Saturday, August 19, join the Six Flags Over Georgia Leadership Team for a special announcement about the park’s future. This is a limited seating event.
Exclusive Ride Times
Coaster Fest attendees will enjoy exclusive ride times on popular attractions like Goliath, BATMAN: The Ride, and SUPERMAN: Ultimate Flight. Taking place outside of normal park hours, these extra hours will also include a party-like atmosphere with music, characters, grilled dinners, continental breakfasts, and more.
Roller Coaster 5K
Coaster Fest guests who ride at least 16,404 feet of track during the weekend will be eligible for a special prize! Non-Coaster Fest attendees can also enjoy this event but will need to purchase a Roller Coaster 5K booklet (it’s included in a Coaster Fest ticket).
