Minion Land, an all-new, immersively-themed area, is coming to Universal Orlando. Featuring delicious dining options, fabulous shopping, and an exciting family-friendly attraction; there’s a lot to look forward to in Minion Land!
Freaks of HHN can’t wait to explore all that’s coming to Universal Orlando. Ready to discuss my official hype list for the upcoming Minion Land? Let’s dive in!

7 Pop-A-Nana

At Pop-A-Nana, guests can find a variety of sweet and savory popcorns, including banana flavored. I don’t really care for any flavored popcorns, but banana? I’m sorry. I’m really not excited about this snack option. I’ll pass on this one.
6. Bake My Day

Topped with a fanciful pink cupcake, Bake My Day will sell Minion-themed treats including cakes, macarons, s’mores, and more. I’m sure this venue will be a popular spot to grab a midday sugar rush!
5. Evil Stuff

Attached to the upcoming Villain-Con Minion Blast, Evil Stuff will carry a selection of Despicable Me, Villain-Con, and Minion merchandise. I’m excited to browse the new product offerings and compare the store’s theming to its existing counterpart: Super Silly Stuff (attached to Despicable Me Minion Mayhem).

4. Freeze Ray Pops
Definitely a huge plus in the Florida heat, Freeze Ray Pops will offer a selection of ready-made Despicable Me-inspired popsicles along with ice cold beverages.
3. Illumination Theater

An immersive meet and greet location, the outdoor Illumination Theater will feature photo opportunities with beloved Despicable Me and Sing characters.
2. Minion Cafe

As much as I will always miss its horror-centric predecessor, the Minion Cafe sounds like a delicious addition to Universal Orlando. Divided into three highly themed areas (the kitchen, the break room, and the dining room), Minion Cafe will offer yummy despica-bowls with options like Otto’s Noodles and Carl’s Crispy Cauliflower.
1. Villain-Con Minion Blast

But as a theme park fan, I’m obviously most excited about the new ride! We still don’t *officially* know many details about Villain-Con Minion Blast, but Universal has told us to expect an interactive and competitive family adventure!
As the mother of two elementary-aged children, I look forward to welcoming Minion Land and its adorable venues to Universal’s attraction offerings. With the closing of Kids’ Zone, the park definitely needs a few more family-friendly options to increase its accessibility to Orlando locals and tourists.
