It’s #JurassicJune, and Universal Orlando is celebrating! Visit Universal Studios to find specialty merchandise, themed refreshments, and an ALL-NEW 30th Anniversary Jurassic Park Tribute Store. Located on Hollywood Blvd next to Mel’s Drive-In, this store is filled with stunning photo ops, 90’s memorabilia, and behind-the-scenes displays.
Let’s explore this limited-time, dinosaur-themed Tribute Store:
The Jurassic Park Tribute Store Entrance

Surrounded by thick plants, you’ll find a replica of the sick triceratops near the Tribute Store’s entrance.
Tribute Store Room #1: The Making of Jurassic Park

The store is divided into three main areas. The first area features models and exhibits explaining how filmmakers pulled off the dinosaur-sized effects using 90’s technology. Inside, you’ll find a replica of the sculpting department, post-production CGI effects, concept art, and behind-the-scenes photos.

This area also contains the bulk of the specialty merchandise. My personal favorite were the InGen logo-ed drinkware, clothing and specialty pins. You can also find some Mr. DNA apparel and a selection of shirts with the movie’s premiere date.

Jurassic Park Tribute Store Room #2: Themed Photo Opportunities
Next, you’ll enter a “sound stage” with several detailed photo ops inspired by the original film. There’s the dilophosaurus waiting for the ill-fated Dennis Nedry.

A raptor stalking his hoped-for meal in the Visitor Center kitchen.

Another raptor sneaking between electrical cords.

And my personal favorite, the T-Rex bursting through the bathroom in the first, extended attack scene.

Jurassic Park Tribute Store Room #3: 1990’s Memorbilia

Whether you were a 90’s kid or don’t know the difference between a Pog and Gameboy, it’s pretty cool to explore this massive display case – filled with genuine Jurassic Park toys and games. There’s even a collection of oddly shaped dinosaur stuffed animals and my brother’s elementary school backpack.

The Jurassic Park Tribute Store is only open for a limited time!

The Jurassic Park Tribute Store is only open for the summer season. Don’t miss your chance to visit Isla Nublar!
