Officially announced at the 2021 IAAPA Expo, ArieForce One (an all-new steel coaster featuring speeds of up to 64 mph, four inversions, a terrifying 83° drop, and a groundbreaking Raven Truss Dive) is NOW OPEN at Fun Spot Atlanta! We were so excited to attend last week’s Grand Opening ceremony for this thrilling new attraction. ArieForce One is a such a unique coaster, and I can’t wait to tell you about it. Thank you, Fun Spot Atlanta, for inviting us out!

ArieForce One Features

An all-steel coaster spanning 3400 feet of track, ArieForce One is a remarkable ride with breathtaking drops, gripping turns, and never-before-seen coaster features. Using a chain lift, guests first encounter a 146 foot, 83° drop followed immediately by the world’s very first Raven Truss Dive! The rest of the 100-second ride is filled with multiple inversions, airtime moments, and America’s largest zero-G stall.

What’s a Raven Truss Dive?

Glad you asked! In a 2021 press release, Fun Spot CEO John Arie, Jr. described this first-ever feature:

“…The Raven Truss Dive and the zero-G roll over the arcade are the first-of-their-kind in the world. In both ride elements the train travels through the center of a uniquely designed truss bridge while twisting at Zero-G.”

ArieForce One Experience

Theme park fans know that every attraction starts in the queue! ArieForce One’s queue takes place in a tall building with plenty of carefully designed theming details.

On the load platform, riders are seated in rows of two and secured with both seatbelts and lap bar restraints. Once the car is filled and safety checks are complete, you are on your way for 100 seconds of breathtaking flight!

Besides the record-setting and groundbreaking action we’ve already discussed, ArieForce One is just an incredibly fun ride! I enjoyed every single moment – from the mounting anticipation of the lift hill to the final pull into the unload area. And the best part is that this roller coaster is completely, incredibly smooth. Like many of us, I’ve experienced some minor aches and pains brought on by the jostling of certain coasters – not ArieForce One! I had zero pain and zero discomfort while riding this coaster – just unbridled fun and thrills!

Freaky Thoughts: ArieForce One

Wow! Just…WOW! I ADORED my experience on ArieForce One! My only complaint is that I don’t live closer to this awesome coaster. If I did (or if they happen to build a similar one in Central Florida…hint, hint), I would absolutely buy a Fun Spot Annual Pass just for this one attraction. ArieForce One is thrilling, fun, fast, and totally smooth for an overall great guest experience.
