This morning, Disney made some exciting announcements! Along with the brand new TRON coaster and Roundup Rodeo BBQ, there’s lots to look forward to at Walt Disney World. Let’s take a look at some of the most thrilling additions coming in the next couple months.
New Character Meet and Greets
Starting April 22, Moana will greet guests from her new home near Discovery Island at Animal Kingdom. Later this summer, Figment will give out hugs from Epcot’s Imagination Pavilion. And in the fall, meet Encanto’s Marigold at the Fairytale Garden at the Magic Kingdom.
Epcot’s Transformation
Epcot’s transformation is well underway with Journey of Water (a Moana-themed, self-guided exploration trail following the water cycle) and CommuniCore Hall (a seasonal venue with character meet and greets and festival programming) slated to open later this year!
New Nighttime Spectacular at Epcot
And finally, we can look forward to brand new nighttime spectacular on Epcot’s World Showcase lagoon. Celebrating the commonalities of the heart, this show will include fireworks, lasers, original music, familiar Disney tunes, and more! This show will debut later in 2023.
