Winnie the Pooh Blood and Honey what a title and what a movie it was. Who would have thought we would see Pooh and Piglet murdering a bunch of teens on the big screen in 2023 that was definitely not on my bingo card. This movie is something for sure it starts out by explaining the backstory of how we got to this point of them being killers and introduces Christopher Robin to the story. I really enjoyed this animation sequence it was done really well. Then we get to the movie and meet a bunch of characters that you really don’t care much about they are pretty much just there to be your typical slasher victims. Those masks that they used from this film are equally scary as they are laughable as pictured below.
This movie is not trying to fool anyone it is a B Movie Slasher for sure but if you go into it with that in mind you will have a great time. There are some super fun kills and everything for the most part is done practically which I really appreciate it. Pooh has some mannerisms that are just laughable and if you have seen the movie you know what I am talking about. There is a ton of blood and that really makes this a fun movie to throw on to just laugh at the craziness of it all. As long as you don’t have high expectations going into this movie you will have a good time especially if you love the slasher genre. I rate this a 3/5 stars and would watch it again!
