The Country Nights Live Experience

Country Nights Live is located inside the Teatro Martini – a smaller, more intimate theater contained within the Pirates Dinner Adventure complex. With a show runtime of approximately 90 minutes, the Country Nights Live production is divided into two parts. Dinner is served during the first half of the show (more about the food later). While audience members chow down on their scrumptious country grub, they’ll be enjoying live singers and dancers performing a variety of popular country songs. After the dinner plates are cleared, however, the cast opens up the stage and dance floor for real line dancing lessons!

Country Nights Live Part 1: Country Music Performance

The first half of Country Nights Live consists of a polished performance with live singers, dance numbers, and sparkling, Western-themed costumes. Country fans will enjoy favorite hits like “9 to 5” by Dolly Parton, “Friends in Low Places” by Garth Brooks, and of course “Boot Scootin’ Boogie” by Brooks and Dunn. Between numbers, enjoy a few fun games led by the evening’s emcee Bronco Betty!

Country Nights Live Part 2: Line Dancing Lessons and The Barnyard Boys

After everyone has had a chance to finish their fabulous country feasts, it’s time to dance! Transforming the Teatro Martini into a traditional honky-tonk bar, Country Nights Live guests are encouraged to get out of their seats and find their place on the dance floor. This part of the show includes live music (performed by The Barnyard Boys), more live singers, and beginner line dancing lessons from the show’s cast.

Country Nights Live Food

In addition to the energetic dancing and live music, Country Nights Live offers a super yummy and flavorful Southern feast. With three courses included in your show admission and lots of entree and side dish options, there’s no reason anyone needs to leave the theater hungry!

Our first course consisted of a Caesar salad with mixed greens Parmesan cheese, croutons, and a creamy dressing.

After the salads, we were served this incredible skillet cornbread. Potentially my favorite part of the entire meal, this bread had the perfect balance of sweet and savory. The texture was light and fluffy inside with a hint of butter oozing through the crust. Absolutely delicious!

Served family-style, the main course includes a variety of meats and side dishes depending on the preferences of your individual group. Everyone gets a platter of crispy fried chicken and country-style pork ribs. Each table can choose from a selection of available side dishes including mashed potatoes, BBQ baked beans, coleslaw, and seasonal vegetables. We tried the baked beans, mashed potatoes and coleslaw. While everything was amazing and delicious, I particularly enjoyed the seasoning on the fried chicken and the buttery mashed potatoes.

Dessert (a healthy helping of strawberry shortcake) is served during the line dancing portion of the evening. The cake was so sweet and soft – a perfect ending to a satisfying meal!

If you would prefer an additional appetizer or alternative entree, Country Nights Live does offer multiple upgrade options. You can add on an order of cheese sticks or chicken wings before the start of the show. Or you can pay a small fee to substitute a premium entree (like beef tenderloin, grilled tofu, or salmon) or dessert (like cheesecake or Caribbean Moonshine Cake).

I definitely recommend Country Nights Live to anyone who enjoys country music, Southern food, and live, theatrical entertainment. My meal was absolutely exquisite, the music was so much fun, and line dancing with the cast was a unique experience that I won’t soon forget!
