March 4th, 2023 Six Flags Over Georgia will kick off it’s 56th season. The park will celebrate and kickoff the 2023 season by giving away 23 gift packs that include amazing prizes such as season passes, event tickets, behind the scenes tours, merchandise, and much more. I don’t know about you but it would be awesome to win one of those. Let’s take a look at some of the amazing Spring events they Six Flags has in store. Six Flags Over Georgia is open weekends March 4th through May 26th including daily operation for Spring Break April 1-9. May 26th will begin daily operation for Summer.

School’s out and Six Flag Over Georgia is the place to be April 1-9. The park will be open daily with extended hours for all the fun and thrills you have come to love. There will also be a cool Easter egg hunt daily during Spring Break where you can earn a special prize.

You all know Spring Break but are you ready for Scream Break? For the first time ever Six Flags Over Georgia will host Scream Break during the week of Spring Break April 1-9. On select nights during Spring Break week guests will get to experience an exclusive, and blood curdling after-hours event that will have you screaming your head off. Scream Break will feature haunted houses, bone-chilling entertainment, low wait times for a selection of some of the parks most popular rides, and much more. This will be very cool new addition for haunters. We definitely need haunted things throughout the year and Six Flags is giving us just that. This will be a nice addition to Fright Fest which runs September 16th through October 29th. Are you ready to be scared?

Another new addition to Six Flags for Spring 2023 is Low Sensory Sundays. We all know that April is Autism Awareness Month and Six Flags Over Georgia is showing their support. Sunday April 2nd, 9th, and 16th the park will create a relaxing and less stimulating environment for the first two hours of park operation. Six Flags Over Georgia will also debut an upgraded Low Sensory Zone. It is so cool to see Six Flags helping out for a great cause.

Brews and Bites is back in 2023 with some amazing food, drinks, and live entertainment. Brews and Bites at Six Flags Over Georgia will take place weekends April 22nd- April 30th, 2023. You will be able to enjoy the spirits of spring with over 75 craft brews and cocktails, amazing food and beverage pairings, live entertainment and demonstrations, and much more. You will defiantly want to pick up a Brews and Bites punch card. There is two options one with admission to the SFOG and one for just food and beverage. The punch card only is $24.99 for 12 punches, and the park admission and punch card one is $59.98. With so much to see and eat you may have to come back multiple days to enjoy it all.

There are two coaster anniversaries for the month of March. The Great American Scream Machine turns 50, and The Riddler Mindbender turns 45. That is a long time and a lot if screams that have been had.

This Summer Six Flags Over Georgia will debut a first of its kind single-rail family racing coaster. This thing is going to awesome and we can’t wait to ride. The new coaster is manufactured by Skyline Attractions and will run two trains on two parallel dueling tracks. Guests will compete and race to the finish to see who is victorious.

Six Flags Over Georgia will be adding some new culinary options and have done some park enhancements. Let’s discuss some of the new food offerings first.
This Spring you will be able to enjoy Orange or Caribbean style chicken and fried rice bowls at Strutter’s. Over at the Miner’s Cookhouse you will be able to grab some pork melts featuring BBQ pulled pork, bacon, crispy onions, and melted cheddar cheese on Texas Toast. Hand rolled made from scratch pretzels will be available at the all new Scorcher Pretzel. New exciting food and beverage offerings will be popup throughout the 2023 season.
During the Winter SFOG started many projects to enhance the guest experience throughout the park.
* Monster Mansion is getting a refreshment to include upgrades such as an updated opening scene, new monster costumes, restored animatronics and interactive features, enhanced lighting, audio, and much more.
* Six Flags Over Georgia is also adding up-lighting to three iconic attractions, The Great American Scream Machine, Georgia Scorcher, and Acrophobia. It is going to make rides in the dark so much cooler and add to an already amazing atmosphere.
*Lastly you will notice many enhancements around the park. Things such as refreshed landscaping, renovated retail and restaurant locations, more shaded areas, more park furniture, lighting upgrades, and much more.
