We were so thrilled to attend a special media preview of Tales of Terror’s Santa’s Summoning, and it is AWESOME! I can’t wait to tell you all about what we experienced. Thank you, Tales of Terror, for inviting us out!

Santa’s Summoning
Tales of Terror is widely recognized for its chilling backstories, creative set design, and personalized performer interactions. In the Santa’s Summoning haunted trail, guests will find out what happens when impatient children try to take Christmas into their own hands. Take a look at the holiday-themed legend below:

From the Tales of Terror Facebook page:
Twas two weeks before christmas, in a quaint family home
The children were huddled over a massive christmas tome
They dreamed of the whimsy, the magic, and joy
Of happy elves making gifts, and shiny new toys.
“I want it now!” one of them whined
“If only there were a way we could speed up the time!”
“What if instead, we could bring santa here?
Bring him with all of his toys, elves, and deer?”
They went to the web and found a dark funny site,
It told of a ritual that could answer their plight.
They drew weird drawings with crayons with care
They spoke foreign words, and cut off their hair.
They burned smelly things, and thought of their dreams
And eventually reality began to tear at its seams.
“We did it they cheered” Eyes full of light,
But as the rip grew in size, something was not right.
Santa’s laugh filled the air, oddly inverted,
The twisted shadows of elves appeared strangely perverted.
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse,
For evil was summoned into their small house.
Santa’s Summoning Trail Experience

As the centerpiece of the Santa’s Summoning event, the highly-themed trail includes several detailed scenes, immersive storytelling, individual attention from talented performers, innovative scare tactics, and special effects. The trail takes about 7-10 minutes to complete depending on your engagement with the actors and particular walking pace.
Like all Tales of Terror attractions, Santa’s Summoning provides an intensely personal and individualized experience. Within each creepy scene, guests will encounter one or more vibrant characters – ready to engage in discomforting conversation and terrifying interactions in order to move the story forward. Depending on a guest’s specific reactions and body language, performers will tailor their responses, resulting in completely unique experiences that simply cannot be repeated. Every journey through a Tales of Terror attraction is different.
