With free parking, free admission, and a (reasonably) weather-proof atmosphere; Dezerland Orlando offers a truly unique and customizable experience for both tourists and Florida locals. Most widely known for its Auto Museum (an astounding collection of vehicles including cars from the James Bond films, historical automobiles, international selections, and a record-setting stretch limo), Dezerland Park includes a total of 19 attractions. Ranging from bowling to pinball games to a trampoline park and bumper cars, each attraction is individually priced – allowing family and friend groups to create completely personalized experiences, tailored to their specific interests and budgetary needs.
Since its 2020 opening, Dezerland Park has undergone constant evolution – with new features and attractions added regularly. Last weekend, Dezerland opened its newest adventure – the Thunderfoam Arena – where players can battle it out with classic NERF guns and ammunition. We were recently invited to tour Dezerland Orlando and check out this newest addition to the already impressive roster of entertainment options. Thank you, Dezerland Park, for inviting us out!
The Thunderfoam Arena
Unlike anything else in the state of Florida, the Thunderfoam Arena is a NERF battleground – complete with reloading stations, plenty of ammo, and sheltering obstacles. In this new attraction, friends, family, and coworkers can bond over a fun and safe game for children and adults.
Playing in the Thunderfoam Arena
Priced at $11.95 per player, each battle lasts a total of ten minutes. Guests have the option of using the included NERF gun with 40 rounds of soft ammunition, or they can upgrade to a 60 round weapon. The premium gun choice will cost an additional $5, but you won’t need to reload your gun as frequently!
If you run out of ammo during your game, there are two available reloading stations!
While groups are divided into two teams (red and blue), there is no scoring system – just fun!
A truly unique attraction, there’s nothing like the Thunderfoam Arena in all of Central Florida! So, grab your family and friends and come out to play!
Opening This Weekend: Let’s Go Jungle and House of the Dead Arcade Shooter Games
Another completely unique entertainment option (I’ve truly never seen anything like it), Dezerland Park will soon welcome deluxe, full-motion, arcade shooter games! Opening this upcoming weekend, each game includes 360° motion, dual screens (your car will actually whip around to view action from two different directions), and popular stories from SEGA. Let’s Go Jungle features a wildlife motif with attacking spiders, and House of the Dead includes a zombie theme!
Both games take place in an enclosed structure with themed decor and a state-of-the-art player vehicle.
The 360° movement ride vehicle includes a seat belt, lap bar and two guns.
Admission to these deluxe, full-motion games is $5 per player. Up to two people can ride at a time, and I highly recommend bringing a shooting partner! The experience will end once the players’ “lives” are finished, so combine your talents to maximize your fun.
As an avid ride fan but reluctant video game player, this was the perfect balance! I enjoyed the thrilling movements of the vehicle and ability to truly affect my own story experience. Theme park enthusiasts and experienced gamers alike will appreciate these immersive arcade attractions. Stop by Dezerland this weekend to check them out!
Admission to Dezerland Park’s attractions can be purchased individually with Playcard credits or as part of a Combo promotion including multiple Dezerland experiences.
Dezerland Park Playcard Credits
Purchased onsite at Dezerland Park, charged Playcards grant access to virtually all of the Dezerland-owned attraction options (third party attractions require individual purchase). By charging your Playcard with a prescribed amount of credits (the more you add, the more bonus credits you can earn – i.e. a $100 recharge will earn you $20 of bonus credits), you can gain access to bowling, go karts, the Thunderfoam Arena, Pinball Palace, etc – anything on the shared Playcard system. The combination of attractions experienced is completely dependent on the user’s priorities and budget.
Using individual Playcards allows each member of the family to customize their Dezerland experience while maintaining set budgetary restraints. It’s a completely unique way to manage your time at an Orlando attraction!
Dezerland Park Combos
But if you know you want to try a variety of Dezerland entertainment options, consider a Combo deal! Also redeemed via Playcard, these Combo packages offer access to multiple, specified attractions with some overall savings.
For example, the All Fun, All Day Combo costs $79.95 per person and consists of almost $100 of activities – including:
- 1 Trampoline Park Pass (30 min)

- 1 Go-Kart Race
- 1 Arcade Time Card (60 min)
