DIS Con, a unique expo celebrating all aspects of the Disney company, will return on September 30th and October 1st. Featuring fascinating guest speakers, panel discussions, and a memorabilia auction; DIS Con will take place at the beautiful Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort located near Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
While the full itinerary has yet to be released, more than 50 iconic personalities and speakers will be available including:

DIS Family Reunion 2021
I had the amazing opportunity to visit last year’s DIS Con (then called the DIS Family Reunion), and it was a blast! My theme park nerd heart was overflowing as I listened to fascinating speakers like Chef Art Smith, Kat Cressida (the bride from The Haunted Mansion), Jason Surrell (Senior Creative Director at Universal), Ridley Pearson (author of the Kingdom Keepers), and more. After such an unforgettable experience, I am THRILLED to learn that this event will return in 2022.

A Fundraiser for Give Kids The World
But DIS Con 2022 is more than just an exceptional weekend. Proceeds from ticket sales, sponsorships, and the charity auction will benefit Give Kids The World – a local nonprofit offering magical, cost-free vacations to families struggling with childhood illness. Working closely with wish-granting organizations, Give Kids The World brings these special kids and their families to Orlando for a fun-packed week of theme parks, attractions, entertainment, and Florida fun!
“Children with critical illnesses face countless appointments, treatments and hospital stays, and they are often told “no” due to the limitations of their illness. Give Kids The World offers wish children and their families a week of “yes” where they can forget their worries, experience joy, and spend priceless time together creating unforgettable memories,” says Give Kids The World President and CEO Pamela Landwirth. “We are grateful to our tremendous partners at Walt Disney World® and to the many sponsors, donors and participants who are making DIS Con possible for the benefit of the precious families we serve.”
After Hours Party at Epcot
In addition to the amazing panels and discussions throughout the day, guests to DIS Con can purchase a ticket to the Epcot After Hours Party on October 1st! Running from 10:30pm to 12:30am, the party will include access to Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, dessert offerings, rare character meet and greets, and special entertainment throughout the World Showcase.
