Busch Gardens Christmas Town, a special nighttime overlay featuring speciality attractions, festive decor, and colorful meet and greets, is now open! Running until January 2, this holiday event is actually INCLUDED with park admission – adding a holiday treat to a day at the park or providing a fun night out for annual pass holders! In case you needed more convincing, here are 3 reasons to visit Busch Gardens Christmas Town!
Reason #1 – Santa’s North Pole Experience

More than your traditional meet and greet, this photo opportunity offers an entire experience with themed environments, conversations with elves, and an extended interaction with the Big Guy himself. We started our tour by knocking on Santa’s door. In a flash, we were greeted by a cheery elf who ushered us into a grand living room (with obvious control center preparing for Christmas Eve)!

As we progressed further into Santa’s Florida home, we were enchanted by the detailed theming and conversation with our elf guide. It wasn’t long before we were welcomed into the Santa’s sitting room for our special photo! While the employees inside (including the elves) were unable to take a photograph with my cell phone, I was able to snap as many as I’d like of my friends and even a few solo pictures of Santa with his tree.

This attraction was such a fun surprise! We expected a simple greeting with a few sentences and quick picture – but we ended up with such a memorable experience! Regardless of whether your group includes children (ours didn’t!), do not miss this adorable addition to Christmas Town!

Reason #2 – Fun Photo Opportunities Around the Park!
Across the entire park, you can find fun and beautiful photo opportunities with familiar holiday characters (like Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer) or new friends (like the Ice Princess)!

I particularly enjoyed the Rudolph Meet and Greet located in the old Dolphin Show/R.L. Stine’s Haunted Lighthouse Theater. In this highly themed experience, you can get a picture with Rudolph, his girlfriend Clarice, and even the Abominable Snowmonster from the North (or Bumble for short)!

Reason #3 – A Park FULL of Lights!
Every part of Busch Gardens is decked out in gorgeous decor and festive lights! We had so much fun walking the park’s paths and discovering beautiful displays along the way!
