During today’s press conference at the IAAPA Expo at the Orange County Convention Center, Fun Spot America (Orlando’s only family-owned theme park) announced a brand new, steel roller coaster coming to its Atlanta location. The ArieForce One, a custom Rocky Mountain Construction design, will feature 3,400 feet of track and speeds of up to 64 miles an hour!

A tribute to his father’s passion for flight, FunSpot CEO and Owner John Arie, Jr. said of the new coaster, “The addition of the ArieForce One is a HUGE milestone for our company and the first of many new Marque rides and attractions yet to come to the Fayetteville, GA park. As a one-of-a-kind roller coaster, custom designed to the topography and layout of Fun Spot Atlanta, no other RMC roller coaster has this combination of elements. The Raven Truss Dive and Zero-G Roll over the arcade are the first-of-their-kind in the world. In both ride elements the train travels through the center of a uniquely designed truss bridge while twisting at Zero-G.”

Set to open in 2022, some of ArieForce One’s other features will include:
- A themed queue line highlighting John Arie Sr.’s passion for flight
- A terrifying 154-foot lift hill, followed by an 83° first drop
- America’s largest Zero-G stall
- Four inversions, including two Zero-G rolls
- First of its kind Raven Truss Dive
Also during the expo, Rocky Mountain Construction revealed the design of ArieForce One’s beautiful trains! Take a look at some photos from the event floor!
