Carnival of Frights Coming to Leesburg This October!

Stage Fright, a Leesburg haunted attraction, will return in 2021 with its brand new story – Carnival of Frights! Running the last two weekends of October, this haunt will feature a unique experience with a themed pre-show, special effects, and lots of creative scares! Let’s learn a little bit more about the company and upcoming attraction:

More About Stage Fright

An all-volunteer organization, Stage Fright was founded out of a passion for the stage and spooky season. Each year’s haunt acts as a fundraiser for the Melon Patch Theater – a community theater offering fan favorite productions such as Into The Woods, The Music Man, and A Christmas Carol.

In 2019, Stage Fright produced a zombie-themed haunt called “Lab Rats.” In this attraction, guests encountered mad scientists, decomposing zombies, and pharmaceutical interns all working together to create a cohesive story. While 2020’s event was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Stage Fright comes back with a vengeance next month!

Carnival of Frights

Starting October 22, you are invited to enter (if you dare) the Carnival of Frights! This haunt will follow a mysterious carnival that only appears for a few days once a year. Many who enter will not make it out, and those that do are forever changed! Check out the short teaser below:

Carnival of Frights will run October 22, 23, 29, and 30 from 7-10pm each evening. Tickets are $5 per person and can be purchased onsite using cash or a credit card. Much like the 2019 production, this haunt will offer a complete experience – with preshow, constructed maze (right on the theater’s stage!), and delicious concessions (available for purchase).

I look forward to testing my luck at the Carnival on October 22nd! Stay tuned for a full article about my evening!

If you’d like to learn even more about Stage Fright or meet some of the staff, visit their tent at the Leesburg Night Market on September 17th and October 22nd.
