NEW Haunted House: Captain’s Revenge!

Howl-O-Scream Orlando has announced its third NEW haunted house – Captain’s Revenge! Here’s a small teaser for the upcoming attraction:
From the Howl-O-Scream website:
A tempting and terrifying force has possessed those who once labored aboard this vessel. Against every warning, you descend into its dank underbelly in search of the captain who swore revenge on you. What grisly horror lurks around the next dimly lit corner? Creaks and groans fill the musty air. You’re surrounded by what remains of the ill-fated crew. It’s time to find a way out…before they find permanent quarters for you.
Due to a few Twitter rumors and educated speculation, many people assumed that Black Spot, the popular pirate house from Howl-O-Scream Tampa Bay, would be making the trip to Orlando. While this could still conceivably occur, it definitely appears that SeaWorld’s Captain’s Revenge will be the one and only pirate house this year!
Along with the Captain’s Revenge haunted house, Howl-O-Scream announced a related scare zone and bar experience – making another horror themed land!
Scare Zone: Sea of Souls

From the event’s webpage:
This is it…the site of that horrific shipwreck. Those marauding pirates were too arrogant to see their downfall coming, and now they’re doomed to wander through a sea of gruesome reminders. Their souls are restless, and their anger is real. They’ll never stop seeking revenge on those who’ve escaped their ghostly fate. Steer clear—if you can.
What a cool concept for a scare zone! It will set a perfect mood for the Captain’s Revenge house!
Bar Experience: Longshoremen Tavern

From the Howl-O-Scream website:
When pirates pull into port, this be the tavern where they warm their bellies with rum. Take a break from the monsters and squalls, plant your weary hides, and join the merriment. In here, you might discover that an old SeaWorld treasure has been (partially) resurrected. They’re the Longshoremen, and they’ve been dying to entertain you again.
I am super intrigued by the “old SeaWorld treasure.” Any thoughts on what this could be? Let me know in the comments!
Extra Announcement: Roaming Haunts

In addition to the clearly marked scare zones, Howl-O-Scream will include three roaming haunts ready to provide jump scares throughout the park! I am most excited to see the “iconic” sirens in action!
A Few More Announcements to Come!
There are still four clues to be revealed for this year’s event.

Based on their previous patterns, I’m going to guess that the top three clues represent another house, scare zone, and bar experience – all linked by a similar theme (finally a house that takes place under water?). But I’m a little stumped by the tent clue. Will this be another show? An overnight experience? I have no idea, no inside knowledge, and no rumors to back me up on anything – but I’m still curious. What do you think the last clue could be? Let me know below!
Howl-O-Scream Orlando begins on September 10th! Follow their Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter for the latest updates!
