Battleground: Mortals vs Monsters Coming to 13th Floor July 30-31!

On July 30 and 31 ONLY, you can participate in a “realistic, tactical experience” at 13th Floor in Jacksonville. Battleground: Mortals vs Monsters is a live-action, monster hunting attraction featuring the best elements of laser tag and haunted houses.

The Mortals vs Monsters Experience

Those familiar with 13th Floor may recognize this experience as a continuation of the Zombie Apocalypse Live event. However, Battleground: Mortals vs Monsters is new and improved with upgraded weapons, unlimited ammo, live scoring, and more monsters than ever before!

I haven’t yet experienced this attraction (or Zombie Apocalypse Live), but I will be there on July 30th! Stay tuned for a full article about my visit!

According to the Battleground: Mortals vs Monsters website, parties will move through the attraction on what appears to be a traditional haunted house path – but with a fun twist! As monsters attack, use your “weapon” to shoot at the monsters’ targets and protect your group. But beware! Some creatures will require multiple hits to vanquish; and if they get too close, your personalized score will suffer!

Group Sizes

Groups larger than 6 individuals will need to be split for safety purposes. Otherwise, groups can travel through the attraction together.

Mortals vs Monsters Ticketing Options

You can choose between one of three ticket options for your experience. All tickets include unlimited ammo (great news for those of us that aren’t excellent shooters). The General Admission price (starting at $34.99) includes a standard weapon and admittance to the attraction. The Fully Auto package (starting at $39.99) upgrades your weapon to an automatic variety, and the Fully Auto + Photo price (starting at $44.99) includes a fully automatic weapon and a printed souvenir photo with your group.

When buying your ticket, you’ll need to choose a time slot for your mission. No matter which slot you choose, your group will be able to complete the full experience. Do not stress about choosing later start time. Advance purchase is highly recommended as this event may sell out.
