Starting October 1st, Walt Disney World Resorts will celebrate the 50th anniversary with their own special brand of magic – including extra hours at all the Disney theme parks!
All Disney Resort guests (as well as guests of other select hotels) will have early access to every theme park, every day of their stay. Deluxe and Deluxe Villa Resort guests will have the added opportunity for extended evening hours during dates at select parks. Please note that a valid ticket and reservation are still required for these benefits.
In addition to these extra park hours, Resort guests will enjoy visits from some favorite Disney pals – dressed in their special 50th anniversary costumes!
We will never know what the 50th anniversary festivities would have truly looked like – sans the COVID-19 shutdowns. But in spite of the hard times Orlando has faced, it looks like Disney is putting together a pretty awesome celebration! I look forward to commemorating this important milestone in the theme parks this October!
