DreamWorks Destination Theater
But it’s when you enter the doors that the party really starts! Inside the theater, you’ll find a sparkly stage with multiple DreamWorks characters dancing and posing for distanced selfies and photographs. The entire room is decorated with pictures and cutouts of the beloved cartoons as well as string lights and the iconic “moon” logo.
How DreamWorks Destination Works
The theater is divided into specific seating sections with distance markings indicating where to stand for pictures and interactions. Characters focus on one part of the theater at a time. Performers do rotate between theater sections, so don’t worry if your favorite character is currently with a different part of the theater (As long as they haven’t already visited your section, of course. Check with a Team Member if you’re not sure).
As they are rotating, the characters will perform a fun dance routine. Here’s a taste:
There are multiple groups of available characters, so if you don’t immediately find the individual you’re looking for simply wait until the current group takes a break or check back a little later in the day. A Team Member should be able to tell you who will be onstage that day and when their set session will begin.
Currently, DreamWorks Destination hours are listed as 11am-2pm and 2:45-5:45pm daily. However, these hours are subject to change so make sure to check with Universal prior to your visit.
