Meet Ed McKeever
As an accomplished professional and dedicated leader in the New Jersey/Pennsylvania area, Ed McKeever made quite a name for himself. He spent 20 years providing executive quality security for live events and casinos, even securing a spot on Atlantic City’s 40 Under 40 list for outstanding leadership skills and philanthropy efforts. But while Ed had built a successful and vibrant career within the security operations industry, his true passion remained with filmmaking and the horror genre. After receiving an offer in Central Florida that would more readily allow him to focus on his creative projects, Ed decide to relocate – and we’re so glad he did!
Ed’s Past Film Work
As an avid horror fan and experienced artist, Mr. McKeever is an incredible addition to the local film scene. Even as he built an entirely different career, he has achieved extensive experience in pretty much every aspect of the filmmaking process including writing, acting, and production. Ed has been credited on a variety of indie movies, short films, and feature length works. Check out his IMDb for a complete list of his projects.
100 Acres of Hell
One of his best known enterprises is 100 Acres of Hell, a story about an ex-pro wrestler (Buck Severs) traveling to an abandoned wildlife rescue for “Boy’s Weekend.” When the group becomes the target of a terrifying manhunt, Buck must rediscover the fighter within before it’s too late! Starring WWE icon Gene Snisky as the lead and set in a visually stunning Pennsylvania landscape, this film is available to rent on Amazon Prime.
