Get ready! Epcot’s International Food & Wine Festival will run from July 15-November 20. The Festival will open with several Global Marketplaces, including classic options like Germany, Hops & Barley, Greece, and Appleseed Orchard. While a full list of marketplaces/menus has yet to be released, it’s apparent that the Festival will not open with a full selection of food booths. According to the Disney Parks Blog, additional marketplaces will open as the Festival progresses.
Besides all the delicious food and drink options, Guests can expect a variety of other activities including:
- Sample all sorts of delicious cheeses served in fun ways as part of Emile’s Fromage Montage – if you collect a stamp from five different Global Marketplaces, you’ll earn a prize!
- Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak will send you on a savory scavenger hunt in search of Remy statuettes hidden all over the park.
- Take a tasty souvenir home from the new merchandise collections, including a festival collection featuring a spirit jersey, baseball cap and so much more.
- Listen to musical favorites performed by Voices of Liberty, Mariachi Cobre and the Jammin’ Chefs.
While we don’t yet know any other details about this upcoming event, we did make one important observation. There’s no “Taste of” added to the Food and Wine Festival’s name! Does that mean we can expect a fuller festival, with even more entertainment options? Time will tell. Stay tuned to Orlando Decoded for more information!
