What is Escape Goat?

Winter Garden’s first escape room, Escape Goat provides four unique and challenging games: Area 51, A Fisherman’s Tale, The Quest, and Camp Echo. Each game includes an engaging story and challenging puzzles.
While we live fairly close to this attraction, my husband and I had not previously tried any of their rooms. Until this past Valentine’s Day, however, when we found ourselves childless and ready for a day/night out! One of our favorite date options is a good escape game, so we decided to reserve a room and try Escape Goat’s Camp Echo game!
Camp Echo

While we’ve heard great things about the Camp Echo, our main motivation was the fact that it will probably be replaced in the not too distant future. While it doesn’t seem like there any immediate plans to change it, Escape Goat staff did confirm that it would be the first to go once a new room is ready.
Camp Echo’s difficulty is rated as “Easy,” so we were a little concerned that the puzzles would not be sufficiently challenging. However, I can happily tell you this was not the case. We escaped, but just barely, and had a plenty hard time figuring out many of the clues.
Camp Echo’s Story
You and your group will be transported back to your childhoods to enjoy the first day of summer camp! That is, until one of the camp legends, Zilla, interrupts your fun. Return Zilla to his other worldly home and save the day!
Here’s a short video from Escape Goat’s Facebook Page taking you inside the room!
Freaky Thoughts: Escape Goat
We LOVED our experience at Camp Echo! The room was clean and detailed. There were a variety of on-theme puzzles that kept us entertained and engaged. While there were only two of us, it was still possible to complete all of the games and find all the necessary clues.
The Escape Effect Presents “Fright Before Your Eyes”: A Ghost-Chasing Adventure on I-Drive
You do need to know that there are a number of sound effects used within the game. Rain and thunder occur through the duration as well as an occasional “booming voice.” None of these sound effects were too loud for me, and I’m pretty sensitive to high volumes. However, if I had brought my small children – they may have been bothered by the voice. They probably would have been ok after some cuddles and reassurance, but it would have been a process.
Otherwise, my husband and I had a great time. Camp Echo was a very fun room to complete. We were satisfied by the game play and left the building talking about what other rooms we’d like to try at Escape Goat!
Definitely check out Camp Echo before it’s discontinued forever! It’s a really fun game and definitely worth an hour of your day. Camp Echo can hold up to 8 players and costs $29.00 a person as of this writing. You can book it here!
