A South Florida native and WDW College Program Alumni (where he became a stoic bellhop at the Hollywood Tower Hotel), Duff Mason (co-creator of HHN365) is a proud resident of the Orlando area. After moving to the city in 2012, Duff fell in love with Orlando’s community and small-town feel. (Let’s face it. Those who weren’t born in O-Town probably moved here for the theme parks. That shared passion creates quite a unique and closely knit population!) Of course Duff loves hitting the parks to ride his favorite attraction, Revenge of the Mummy; but that’s not all he enjoys about this city. Duff also loves Orlando’s wide variety of escape room games and sports teams – like Orlando City soccer, Magic basketball, and, of course, UCF football! Go, Knights!
Duff’s Podcast: HHN365
After discovering a shared love for Universal Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights, he and a fellow Tower of Terror Cast Member, Mike, decided to take the only natural next step – co-host their own podcast! Beginning in September 2019, Mike and Duff launched HHN365 – exploring all aspects of the Orlando event. While some episodes may delve into the California, Japan, and Singapore versions, the podcast certainly focuses on Universal Orlando and its HHN happenings. When I say that HHN365 covers all aspects of the event, I really mean it! Looking through their episode history, you’ll find deep dives on specific houses, interviews with IP creators, event speculation, and (Duff’s personal favorite) HHN trivia contests!
You can find their podcast on Apple Podcasts, Stitcher, or pretty much anywhere else you listen to your favorite content. You can also follow HHN365 on Twitter and Instagram!

But Duff’s interests don’t end with Halloween and the horror genre. Duff is also passionate about using his time and talents to help others. Last summer, HHN365 had the unique opportunity to partner with Neozaz, Grim Grinning Hosts, and The RIP Tour to raise money for the Minnesota Freedom Fund. This organization seeks to combat systemic racism and biased incarceration practices by providing criminal bail and immigration bonds for those who cannot afford it.
But wait! There’s more!
HHN365’s WinterBlunderland: A Night for Charity
On February 28th, starting at 7pm, HHN365 will partner with The Disreferee Podcast and I’m 13, and I Like It to raise money for two important causes. The Cast Member Pantry provides support to laid off and furloughed Disney Cast Members. The Black Youth Project highlights the voices and ideas of Black millennials.
You won’t want to miss this fun, livestream event! There will be games (including theme park/HHN quiplash), live and prerecorded entertainment segments, and exciting raffles. Prizes include two beautiful posters designed and created by REAL HHN artist herself, Shelby (@cryptigutz)! To enter the raffle, you’ll need to pay a $2 entry fee to HHN365’s PayPal. You can find it under Duff Mason or @HHN365.
Thanks, Duff, for taking the time to chat with me about your podcast and charity event! Everyone else, be sure to follow HHN365 and tune in on February 28th!
