Beginning today, you can see “The Soul of Jazz: An American Adventure” at Disney’s Epcot. Inside the lobby of the American Adventure pavilion, this exhibit explores the history and evolution of jazz music. You’ll learn more about your favorite musicians and even get to see some historical artifacts, like Louis Armstrong’s actual trumpet.

It’s a relatively short exhibit with two display cases and six informational posters. Each poster focuses on a different city and its influence on the genre. You can also find highlighted profiles of specific musicians (both past and present) and their contributions to the art.

The display cases house both the aforementioned historical artifacts and replicas of famous sheet music and memorabilia.

While the exhibit is fairly tiny, it’s packed with fascinating information and inspirational stories. If you decide to visit, be aware that the information is not arranged in any kind of chronological or historical order. You can begin and end at any point in the hall.
The Soul of Jazz: An American Adventure at Epcot runs through the month of February and beyond! Make sure you check out all the other special Walt Disney World events honoring Black History Month.
