Perhaps unsurprisingly, there won’t be a Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party or Candlelight Processional at Walt Disney World this year. HOWEVER, that doesn’t mean that the parks won’t offer any holiday cheer!
Beginning November 6, Guests will enjoy whimsical holiday decorations at all four theme parks, Disney Springs, and the resort hotels. Seasonal food items and holiday merchandise will also be found throughout Walt Disney World.
After nightfall in the Magic Kingdom, projection effects will transform Cinderella Castle into various holiday-themed designs.
Beginning November 27, Guests can enjoy select Holiday Kitchens and food items from the International Festival of the Holidays at Epcot.
From a statement released by Walt Disney World, other holiday entertainment will include:
- Holiday character cavalcades at all four parks.
- A yuletide dining experience at Hollywood & Vine, hosted by Minnie Mouse.
- The transformation of Jock Lindsey’s Hanger Bar to Jock Lindsey’s Holiday Bar, complete with limited-time menu.
- Pop-up appearances from Santa himself at all four parks and Disney Springs.
Additional announcements are anticipated within the next few weeks.
