The Christmas Tree Trail at Disney Springs has become an annual holiday tradition for me and my family. Located near the Once Upon a Toy Store, the trail includes 22 trees commemorating Disney movies, rides, and characters. There’s also a couple snack stands as well as Santa’s Chalet (the Big Guy’s Meet and Greet location). It rained during our visit, but when the weather is nice the trail will also include periodic Florida “snoap” flurries!
At the beginning of the trail, you’ll see the Disney Parks tree commemorating the Walt Disney World Resort. This tree is complete with a Cinderella Castle/fireworks “star” as well as a “garland” made out of the monorail.
Each tree is a surprise as you continue down the trail. And don’t worry about recognizing each theme. Each tree is marked with signage to make its decorations clear.
Obviously, not every tree in the trail is pictured above. But this does give you an idea of the attention to detail and creativity involved in each one.
Another fun aspect of the trail is random posters along the fence-like the one pictured below (You’ll only get it if you’ve ridden the Dinosaur ride at Animal Kingdom).
The Christmas Tree Trail is open daily from 11am-11pm until January 5th. If you don’t get to visit this year, we expect many of the trees will repeat themselves in the 2020 season.
