Halloween is almost here! Time to frantically finish your kid’s costumes (I still need to find a witch hat and figure out how to make a preschooler into a ghost.) and plan your weekend/night of festivities. Here are some free places to trick or treat around Orlando!
Saturday, October 26
Trick or Treat Safe Zone Block Party
Hosted by the Orange County Library and History Center, this event is free for all families with children under 12. Kids will get to enjoy a trick or treat trail, creepy crafts, face painting, a scavenger hunt, and other festivities.

Children’s Safety Village Trunk or Treat
Local partners, businesses, and organizations will decorate their trunks to distribute treats around this 8-acre gated property. Costumes are encouraged but not necessary. While this is a free event, Eventbrite registration is recommended. You can register here.

Ace Cafe Trunk or Treat
Visit the Ace Cafe for a fun Trunk or Treat event. There will be a kids’ costume contest and prizes for the top three cars!

Bass Pro Shop’s Halloween Event
Visit Bass Pro Shop for trick or treating, free photos with the Peanut gang, ring toss games, and Halloween crafts. A costume parade will begin at 6pm, and specialty candy will be provided for kids with dietary restrictions and allergy concerns.
Bass Pro Shop will be hosting Halloween activities earlier in the week as well. See the below link for more information.

Halloween at the Parks (Fun Spot)
At both the Orlando and Kissimmee locations, Fun Spot will host trick or treating and costume contests. Contest divisions include infants, children, adults, and family group entries. While the rides and attractions are not included, admission and Halloween festivities are free.
Time: Trick or Treating from 5-7pm (or while supplies last); Costume contest begins at 7pm.

Mall-O-Ween
Little ghouls and goblins can fill their Halloween bags at the Center Court and Play Park area. There will also be a photo booth, special character appearances, and face painting at this fun, indoor event.
