In Spring 2020, get ready to experience a brand new, live action stunt show at Universal Orlando. Taking over the old Terminator 2 theater, this show will include live actors, LED screens, and loads of high tech props and special effects.
The Bourne Stuntacular will feature the popular franchise, The Bourne Identity. Guests will follow Jason Bourne as he evades, fights, and conquers villains from all over the world. Universal has said that this show will “blur the lines between stage and cinema in a hybrid form of entertainment that has never been seen before.”
Since Islands of Adventure’s closing of “The Eighth Voyage of Sinbad” late last year, Universal has been missing a live stunt show attraction. It’s not surprising that they moved relatively quickly to replace this genre in their parks.
We don’t have an exact opening date yet or any other specific details. Universal has said that it will continue to release information at later dates.
