Happy Independence Day! Time to break out your flag-adorned clothing, enjoy a cold beverage, eat some barbecue, and watch beautiful fireworks! Of course every theme park in Orlando will have its own patriotic display, but if you’re looking for a more local (or just cheaper) feel, check out some of the options below!

Celebration’s Star Spangled Spectacular
Just outside of Disney World is the “small town” of Celebration. With a design mimicking Magic Kingdom’s Main Street USA, this town promotes a nostalgic feel perfect for an Independence Day celebration. Town center businesses will provide food and entertainment. Of course, there will be live music, and a firework display over the lake. Celebration’s fireworks often follow different themes. I can’t promise what this year’s theme will be, but I can say that I visited this event during an 80’s music themed show! Super fun! This event is free.
